Shirley  Holcomb (Meyer)
Shirley (Meyer) Holcomb, 84, of West Suffield, wife of the late Kenneth Holcomb, passed away on February 27, 2017. Born on December 20, 1932, in Hartford, daughter of the late George and Eleanor (Wagner) Meyer, and moved to West Suffield when she was 21 years old.

Shirley was well-known in the Suffield Community. She was a school bus driver for the Suffield Public Schools for over 32 years. She was an active member of the Suffield Fire Department Women's’ Auxiliary, and was an avid BINGO player. She will be dearly missed by all whose lives she has touched.

Shirley is survived by her beloved son Burton Holcomb and partner Raymond Paiva of West Suffield. She was predeceased by her husband Kenneth Holcomb, and sister Lois Stark.

The Funeral Service will be on Saturday, March 4 at 11AM at The Heritage Funeral Home, 1240 Mountain Road, West Suffield. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday, March 3 from 4-7PM, and from 10-11AM Saturday prior to the Funeral Service. Burial will be in West Suffield Cemetery on Saturday,. May 13, 2017 at 10:00AM; Please Meet Directly In the West Suffield Cemetery.
