Mary Jane (Sniadowski) Sweatland, 75, of West Suffield, CT beloved wife of the late Guy Sweatland, died Monday, April 25, 2016 at St. Francis Hospital. She was born in Suffield, daughter of the late Mary (Drenzek) Zabek and Chester Sniadowski. She moved to Ludlow, MA and graduated from Ludlow High School before moving back to Suffield. She was retired from Aetna Life & Casualty.

Jane was an avid cook and loved gardening and painting but most of all enjoyed spending time with her family. She is survived by her devoted children, Timothy Guy Sweatland of West Suffield; Jillian Sweatland of Suffield and Jodi Dubiel and her husband Roger of West Suffield; three granddaughters whom she cherished, Hannah Rae Bruning, Gretchen Bruning, and Alexandra Dubiel; two sisters, Theresa Tokarz and her husband Stanley of Suffield and Florence Dos Santos and her husband Olimpio of Ludlow, MA; and step brother, Victor Zabek of Boston, MA.; along with many nieces and nephews. Jane will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, May 3, at 12:00 p.m. at the Heritage Funeral Home, 1240 Mountain Rd., West Suffield. Family and friends may call at the Funeral Home on Monday, May 2, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. I
