Obituary for Linda Joyce DiTommaso

Linda Joyce DiTommaso, age 63, of West Suffield, CT passed away on Friday, March 11, 2016 surrounded by family after her battle with cancer which she fought so fervently with grace and vigour.

Born July 27th 1952 in Farmington, CT, Linda was the daughter of the late Dorothy Dyer and Richard McDonald.

Linda is survived by her loving husband of 46 years Stephen DiTommaso; three children, Tammy Godbey of Simsbury, CT, Angela DiTommaso of West Suffield, CT, and Anthony DiTommaso of East Granby, CT.

Linda leaves behind three beautiful granddaughters, Sara and Paige Godbey of Simsbury, CT and Alyssa DiTommaso of East Granby, CT, who were the delight of her life. Also surviving are siblings, Walter McDonald of Granby, CT, Diane Bennett of Reading, VT, Wayne McDonald of Springfield, MA, and Milton McDonald of Simsbury, CT as well as many loving nephews, nieces, cousins, and good friends.

Prior to her illness Linda enjoyed working for Foodshare in Bloomfield, CT.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, March 17 from 3pm to 5pm and again from 6pm to 8pm at the Heritage Funeral Home at 1240 Mountain Road in West Suffield, CT. A private memorial service will be held by the family at a later date.
